Who are we?

Opening, integration
and collaboration

Arenales is an educational institution made up of more than 29 centers that provides its students with a high-level academic education and, at the same time, a human formation based on the fundamental principles of Christian doctrine.

The network was born more than a decade ago, driven by Fundación Arenales, and in close collaboration with other foundations that together have motivated different projects. Currently, it continues to provide means and resources to promote the growth of educational centers inside and outside the network.

Opening, integration
and collaboration

The network integrates more than 25 educational centers: large and small, old and new, in large cities or small towns.

Being part of a network allows our centers to maintain their own identity and enrich themselves with the contributions from others.

Everyone learns from each other and dedicates time to help spread a shared knowledge, allowing them to collaborate in the most effective way possible. Experiences and ideas flow from one center to another to create our close-knit community.

Plurality

Our schools are open to everyone, whatever their beliefs. The values we seek to inspire are shared and valued by people of diverse cultures, religions and backgrounds. In addition, we consider the Christian identity of our schools to be essential. The academic and the Christian reinforce and integrate each other, because they are born of the same question of truth.

Belonging to the network

The network schools, while maintaining their identity, are enriched and work collaboratively to offer the best education to their students.

There is plurality in the ways of belonging to the network. There are schools that have just started; others were founded some time ago by religious congregations or other institutions, and later joined the network.

The first school in the network began in 2009, in Alcalá de Henares. The oldest was founded in 1898, is in Teruel and joined in 2018.

We offer an integrated approach to education, grounded in a Christian vision of the individual and of the world. The educational process is carried out in a context of absolute individual freedom as we teach lessons on responsibility, social transformation, and personal development that seek continual self-improvement for each individual.
